Item of The Week - Late 19th Century 5 Piece French Painted Salon Suite

It’s March, the daffodils are blooming, the birds are signing and the sun is even popping out every now and again, enticing us and reminding us that Spring is in the air.

It is however still a little on the chilly side, so other than wrapping up warm and braving the cold, how else can we enjoy this time of year? In the warmth of your conservatory or sun room perhaps?  In an outhouse maybe? Well how about adding this superb Late 19th Century 5 Piece French Painted Salon Suite to your home, making your relaxing space, wherever it may be, the perfect place to retreat to, to enjoy this splendid time of year?

This late 19th Century suite consists of a salon sofa, two armchairs and two single chairs, giving ample seating for you to choose from or to offer your friends or family should you wish for them to join you as you relax. The single chairs and armchairs would sit beautifully around a dining table, and coupled with the sofa, they could instantly transform a room, bringing to it an air of sophistication no doubt.

The wooden frame is painted, whilst the seat unit itself has been re-upholstered in a stylish, modern grey fabric, with studded edging. And whilst not overly elaborate in its appearance as is typical of a lot of French Antique Furniture, this suite does still display more subtle characteristics of French designs as it is curvy and elegant with notable detailing in the woodwork.

This suite is being offered for sale by Burgett Langfield for £1,950
