Item of The Week - Georgian Sideboard c.1800

Storage, storage, storage; you can never have enough Storage (well we certainly can’t!) If you’re anything like us, we are always on the lookout for more space to keep our bits and bobs, but sometimes a big cupboard, with lots of doors and drawers can be a little overpowering for your living space, so how about a stylish sideboard to blend in with your décor? One like this perhaps?....

This Stunning Georgian Antique Sideboard would make the perfect addition to your home and has ample storage space for your belongings. In actual fact, the Dealer selling this sideboard states that it boasts not only a cutlery drawer on the top left-hand side, with a hinged drawer directly below and a large central drawer, but it also has a double drinks drawer for bottles on the right-hand side! We’re sold! (It’s worth noting that all locks are working and come with keys.)

This sideboard could even double up as a desk or dressing table as it has a knee-hole space for a chair to be placed, and has ample surface space. The choice is yours.

And if the practicality hasn’t won you over, then what about the stunning design? This Sideboard was constructed circa 1800 and has a notable rich tone to it. It displays stunning examples of marquetry & Inlays with a shell design being the main focus. The sideboard also features superb Satinwood cross- banding and has been lightly refurbished to maintain its antique appearance. It sits on six solidly constructed straight legs and is of a standard size.
