Item of The Week - 18ct Platinum and Gold Two Stone Diamond Ring
With Valentine’s day just under a week away, we thought it best to choose an appropriate ‘Item of The Week’ that signifies what Valentine’s Day symbolises, and that is the unity of 2 people coming together to celebrate their love. And of course, this is the most popular day for proposals of marriage to be made. So today, we present to you this beautiful 18ct Platinum and Gold Two Stone Diamond Ring.
Venturing away from the classic Solitaire ring, which is said to be the most popular choice of Engagement ring nowadays, this two-stone diamond ring has a wonderful romantic feel to it and is actually known as a ‘Moi et Toi’ ring, which is French for ‘Me & You,’ thus the two stones are said to represent the unity of 2 beings becoming one. Surely that makes this style of ring the most perfect one to pop the question with?
Dating from the 1930’s, this Art Deco ring is crafted from Platinum (the whole upper half of the ring which displays the stones) and 18ct yellow Gold (the rest of the band), and along with the two, eye catching 0.40ct diamonds it displays pretty, delicate diamond set shoulders.
The Diamonds are said to be ‘excellent quality, super bright and sparkly and are very well matched in colour, assessed to be in the near colourless range of H-I colour, and approx. VS2 clarity with no black carbon inclusions.’ The finger size is UK: M 1/2 or US : 6.25 but this can of course be sized. Not only that but this stunning ring will be presented in a presentation box when purchased.
This romantic ring is sure to light up the face and heart of your loved one, and will hopefully result in only one word being uttered upon presentation……”Yes!”
