Neave Parker spent most of his working life at the Natural History Museum in London, where he was engaged mainly on the reconstruction of dinosaurs. He illustrated a number of books and articles on prehistoric animals. This is from a small edition of colour linocuts of world animals all tipped on to a backing sheet and originally sold as a folio.'
A Picture Book of Linocuts' 'originally an album containing twenty good quality colour linocuts of animals and insects, signed in pencil, folio dated 1937, (350 x 240mm + mount and frame) He was infamous for very small limited editions of ten or under.
