Declaration

Slade's Antiques has clarified that the 'The Blackheath Golfer' Antique Mezzotint Signed Proof by William Henderson (12469 / LA6789) is antique and it's date/period of manufacture is 1915.

Condition

Overall in fair to good condition. The print does have some discolouration and is a little faded. There is some foxing (brown spotting), primarily around the edges and partcularly to the bottom of the print. The mount is a little discoloured and has some creasing and tape marks - the engraving would benefit from being re-mounted. The oak frame has some scuffing, wear and grubbiness consistent with age and use. It has some paint flecking (also affecting the glass).
