Declaration

Slade's Antiques has clarified that the Edwardian upholstered armchair with swept arms (12999 / LA16184) is antique and it's date/period of manufacture is 1905.

Condition

Overall in good usuable condition with some wear consistent with age (assuming the covers are used). The original upholstery is significantly worn and grubby and is missing two of the buttons from underneath the arms on the inside. It does show signs of re-stitching in places and is thinning. The wooden legs have some scuffing and wear as might be expected. The metal castors have some surface corrosion. The bespoke-made cover is a little grubby with a few stain marks and has a small hole near one arm.
