Description

A rare sized early-mid 19th Century 10' convex dial clock. It has a traditional mahogany pegged case, with top and bottom inspection doors. It has a cast brass bezel with a convex glass and dial that is signed by the Maker Stanton of Oswestry. It has an 8 day fusee movement with shaped plate. Thomas Stanton is listed as a maker in Oswestry in 1835.

Worboys Antiques has clarified that the small convex fusee dial clock (LA61127) is genuinely of the period declared with the date/period of manufacture being 1840.

The case is in good original condition having been revived, the dial restored preserving the original ground the movement has been full serviced and is guaranteed for 12 months.
