Description

Rare mid-18th Century French faience (delftware) cachepot with lovely hand painted decoration of flowers and with side mask head handles. In good condition, but with short crack to side from top and a piece of the footrim has been off and glued. Nevertheless still a most interesting and collectable item. Probably made at St. Cloud or Rouen.
