Description

This beautiful and heavy Victorian sterling silver mirror was made by the famous William Comyns and hallmarked in London 1895.

The intricate silverwork is typically Comyns. An array of birds, flowers, scrolls etc and a cherub holding an ornate vacant cartouche.

A beautiful tall and elegant silver mirror made by this highly collectable silversmith.

Declaration

WENTWORTH SILVER has clarified that the large Victorian silver mirror (1219 / LA4423) is antique and it's date/period of manufacture is 1895.

Condition

It is in very good condition and can be used either for wall hanging or sitting on a table. The substantial loop and the easel are both firmly fixed.
