This is a stunning sterling silver table basket of very high quality made by Rebecca Emes and Edward Barnard and hallmarked in London 1826. It has a profusion of decoration to the body with fruits, leaves etc and similar decoration to the raised circular base which is also scalloped. The handle is substantial and has additional silver decoration and is also hallmarked.
A lovely silver basket from these well respected Georgian silversmiths.
