Description

This is a lovely side handled antique sterling silver mustard pot made by Thomas Johnson and clearly hallmarked for London 1809. It comes with a hallmarked silver spoon made by Elizabeth and John Eaton which is hallmarked for London 1860.

The set is in very good condition with no damage or repair to the silver and just a tiny nibble to the original blue glass liner where the spoon rests. The mustard pot sits firmly on 4 ball feet, there is gadroon decoration to the rim and reeded decoration to the handle.

Both the mustard pot and the spoon are made with a heavy gauge of silver - altogether an attractive and practical condiment (NB any shadows shown in photographs are merely reflections).
