Description

These are excellent examples of the workmanship of the famous silversmith, Paul Storr.

This solid sterling silver fork and spoon carry the hallmarks for London 1793.

In an Old English Thread and Shell pattern, the patterns on the hourglass-shaped finials are crisp and clear. The cutlery carries a family crest on the front of the spoon finial and reverse of the fork finial.

The hallmarks are rubbed on the fork, through over-zealous cleaning, but the maker's mark of Paul Storr is still discernible.
