Description

This is a lovely 18th Century Georgian antique sterling silver butter dish made by William Plummer and hallmarked in London 1764.

It has an armorial of a mailed arm holding a spear and is in very good condition with just one old minor repair below the handle but difficult to see. Of quite large size the shell shaped dish sits firmly on she'll feet and is an attractive piece from this well known Georgian silversmith. (NB any shadows shown in photographs are merely reflections).
