Description

This is a fine and most attractive antique George IV sterling silver salver made by S C Younge & Co and hallmarked in Sheffield 1824.

Extensively decorated with an applied silver border and standing firmly on 3 attractive feet. There is a vacant cartouche which has never been engraved and there is no repair or damage. It has been made with a thick gauge of silver and is quite heavy and hallmarks are clearly struck.

A most impressive and attractive Georgian silver salver or tray.
