Description
This is a stunning and very useful vintage writing bureau in sycamore and walnut. This was designed by Peter Hayward, it was made by Vanson in England, and dates from the 1960s. It has such a stylish and practical design the quality is outstanding. The sycamore front slants outwards very slightly, with a fantastic drop down work space with leather writing surface. There are two generous drawers in the lower section, and this sits on elegant yet sturdy tapered legs. The top and sides are darker walnut, which contrasts beautifully with the sycamore. We have had this stripped and re-polished to a very high standard, the condition is immaculate throughout. Width 76cm, 30 inches Depth 40cm, 16 inches Height 105cm, 41 inches
