Description
A rare & beautiful 160 Year Old Antique Mahogany Fall Front Bureau. Made in England during the reign of Queen Victoria in around 1860 to a lovely standard. The beautiful fall front cover with brass escutcheon lifts to reveal a fitted interior of miniature drawers, pigeon holes and a writing surface. The base fitted with four long graduated drawers with beautiful shape plate brass swing handles and escutcheons. All raised upon bracket feet. Made to wonderful proportions it will stand proud in any room.

The mahogany has a lovely colour and pleasing patina
created over the last 160 years. A wonderful piece of English history that’s overflowing with historic charm.
