Painted by the highly-renown and listed Scottish artist 'Andrew Archer Gamley' RSW (1869-1949). Scottish artist Andrew Archer Gamley was born in 1869 in Johnshaven, Kincardineshire. Gamley attended the Royal Scottish Academy of Art and Architecture in Edinburgh. His works have been exhibited at the Royal Scottish Academy of Art and Architecture and at the RWS, among others The above work is in impeccable original condition, whilst further benefiting from both the artist's signature and date of 1918 lower-left corner. Fastidiously detailed throughout and extremely lifelike.
