This Edwardian silver mounted crocodile bi-fold wallet has embossed foliate and floral decoration by Charles Penny Brown with hallmarks for Birmingham 1903. As you will see from the images condition is good with very little age wear. The leather both external and internal is in good order as is the applied silver mount. The internal purse has a weak clasp. It measures 135mm long and 70mm deep closed. Open to its full length it measures 140mm long and 125mm deep. It is a very tactile and useful piece of Edwardian style which must surely have been treasured over the years. I found a Queen Victoria penny inside dated 1887 and, of course, this will be included with the purse.
