* Superb hand painted miniature portrait of Helen Sedlmyr (1813-1898)
* Originally painted by Joseph Stieler as part of a series of portraits of 'The Beauties of Europe' for King Ludwig 1st.
* Painted on a celluloid base used by many miniaturist towards the end of the 19th Century.
* Presented behind glass in a brass oval bezel set in a Piano Key Frame with an outer mahogany applied frame
* Fine engraved border and engraved decoration to the four corners
