Description
A rare item of Victorian teatime ware. This fabulous example is a toasting fork, with a hallmarked silver handle. The shaft and tines are polished steel and the handle is fully cast to represent a roaring panther. The detailing is crisp and of high quality, with blue glass eyes to elevate the striking appearance. Silver items which feature animals, birds and fish are always sought after by collectors and this wonderful piece is both decorative and practical.
