Dating 1810 and originating in Austria Vienna a fine and rare mahogany Biedermeier period mahogany framed split plate trumeau mirror the frame decorated with finely carved parcel gilt edging and square gilt metal rosettes ,the top frieze decorated with a central mirror plate with a mezzotint engraving depicting a woman and child holding a mans head ,flanked by two further open fretwork panels with carved oak leaves .The main mercury backed split plate mirror is in very good condition and retains the original backboards although there is some foxing to the plate in the frieze A very good decorative full length mirror which would look out standing in most rooms 62.5”or178cm high 27.25”or69.3cm wide 2”or5cm deep
