A fine landscape oil painting on canvas of the the River Avon as it wends its way near Ringwood, Hampshire, England.
There are four listed River Avons in England. This one rises in Wiltshire to drain in the Hampshire basin.
This is an exceptional work by Parker who is highlighted in the Dictionary of Victorian Painters by Wood.
