Victorian Oak Framed Tapestry Screen

This is a fine Victorian antique screen with both sides of the frame smothered in carving. The rear is of a light foliate nature whilst the carving to the front is crisper and heavier with more detail, especially the bursting sunflowers. The inner tapestry panels are also of a botanical nature and are slightly faded but given their age you would have to say in good condition with no holes or tears. (These panels are fixed in with simple beading and could be changed if you felt the need. Personally I wouldn't. This is a highly decorative piece that will look fantastic in the right situ. Hand waxed and polished ready to enjoy.
