Waltham Pocket Watch 1926

The watch has a seven jewel stem-winding movement, grade 610, which is working nicely. The movement is fully signed, has handsomely patterned plates and a Breguet hairspring for enhanced precision. The serial number, 25407903, dates it back to 1926. The movement is protected by an inner hinged cover. The watch measures 50.6mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is gold plated and is in good condition with just light surface marking from use. The glass lens is in good condition with just a tiny nibble to the outer edge at 4 o'clock. The dial is in good condition, just a tiny surface mark to the edge at 4 o'clock. Blued steel hands, a subsidiary seconds dial and an outer minute track. The watch comes in a new presentation box. All of our watches are checked over before listing, and are also checked for accuracy which is usually within around +/- two to three minutes over 24 hours (unless otherwise stated), which is considered respectable for a vintage watch.
