Margaret Rosemary Clare Anyon Cook - Artist

Margaret Rosemary Clare Anyon Cook (1914-2003) was a known British portrait artist & book illustrator she worked from her harbour studio, Polperro in Cornwall. She illustrated books for Enid Blyton (The Rat a Tat Tat mystery) amongst others. She was married to Frederick Cook who had been a Fireman artist during World War 2. One of her works is in the Salford Museum & art gallery a portrait of Walter Greenwood.
