Description

This is a lovely antique Victorian sterling silver trinket or ring box made by William Comyns and hallmarked in London 1896.

It is in very good condition with no repairs or damage (NB any shadows shown in photographs are merely reflections). The box is extensively decorated with faces, birds, swags etc and on the side the decoration includes a peacock.

The trinket box is made with a good gauge of silver so is heavier than most and is also rather taller. Overall a box of very good quality as one would expect from this famous Victorian silversmith.
