Antique Staffordshire Figure Group Spill Vase c.1860

This attractive Staffordshire spill vase depicts a couple standing by a tree trunk with a fruiting vine climbing it. The tree is hollow to hold the spills which would look like branches when inserted. There is a large basket full of grapes between them. The figure is hand painted in overglaze enamels and traditional underglaze cobalt blue.

We welcome any questions or enquiries regarding the figure. Please message us and we will be delighted to help.
