Description

A fine Victorian silver milk or cream jug made by Edward Farrell and hallmarked in London 1846. It is in very good condition, has the original internal gilding and stands firmly on 3 feet. It has a double scroll handle and a shaped rim. The body is divided with gadroon decoration into 4 sections, 3 with repousse decoration the 4th has an ornate cartouche which is engraved with an interesting presentation inscription dated May 1846.

Overall a lovely jug from this well respected Victorian silversmith.
