19th Century Blue & White Meat Drainer

This is a rare antique blue and white meat drainer decorated with a charming design showing an eastern city in the background with people and animals in the foreground, with a very delicate and pretty floral border. Meat drainers were made to sit into the recess at the bottom of a large meat plate to allow the juices to drain away from the joint of meat. They are highly collectible and look fantastic displayed either on a dresser or shelf, or arranged on a wall. This one has no makers mark on the rear and I haven’t been able to identify the pattern so I am not sure who made it.
