Description

6 matching, a set of 6, sterling silver antique teaspoons, assayed and hallmarked in Dublin in 1813 and possibly the maker would be Richard Sawyer. Shell pattern front and back, heavy and solid. No makers mark, not even an outline. Each piece is engraved with a Dragons head facing left just below the shell pattern to the front handle. Some spoons have been used more than others and show more wear. I do have a matching set of dessert spoons by Richard Sawyer and they are listed next. I will do a discount on the 2 sets.

Each spoon is 14cm or 5.5 inch, the bowl is largish and thin at near enough 2 inch or 5cm and 2.5cm or 1 inch. Heavy and solid at 195 gram or 6.1/4 oz Troy.
