This is a super antique Georgian hallmarked sterling silver snuff box measuring 3" (8 cms) x 1 1/4" (3 cms) x 1" (2.5 cms). It opens and closes perfectly with a good strong hinge and the interior is in very good condition and gilded inside.
It's hallmarked for Birmingham 1827 with the silversmiths mark for Edward Smith.
It weighs 85.3 grams and the whole item is in excellent condition with no inscriptions or monograms .
