Antique Loetz Matte Iris Powder/vanity Jar Bohemian Glass

Stunning Loetz Rubin Matte Iris? Glass Dressing table Powder Jar/ lidded box. The jar has a lovely tactile satin glass finish which appears purple but has a green and gold iridescent finish. There is a high art nouveau raised gilded floral pattern to the lid which is echoed in the main body. The interior of the jar is red and has a painted gold number 29 to the lid and base. The box has a brass mounting, hinges and clasp which are all firmly affixed and closing perfectly. This is a large and impressive jar measuring 12cm in diameter and 7cm tall.
