Description
A charming reminder of an elegant bygone age. This delightful and unusual piece is a small handbag or purse powder pot. It's diminutive size would hold a small amount of face powder for a lady to reapply on an evening out. Circular in form, it has a pull off lid which has a mother-of-pearl inset in the shape of a lucky shamrock. Inside the pot is gilded and retains the original, tiny swan's down puff. As an alternative use, it would serve well as a pillbox.
