Description
These delightful and very unusual George V silver bonbon dishes were made by the renowned Mappin & Webb and are dated Birmingham 1913. Of lobed circular form, the sides with alternated pierced panels. The petal-shaped rims with a delicate beaded border. The solid silver bases raised on four leaf-capped claw feet. The dishes fitted with beautiful amethyst glass liners. Hallmarks:- M&W for Mappin & Webb Birmingham Assay Mark Lion Passant Date letter "o" for 1913
