A charming, decorative and usable Georgian Silver Cream Jug. It has wonderful detail with birds, animals and buildings.
Contemporary engraved initials to the cartouche below the spout.
Fully hallmarked for London 1780.
The makers mark is BM, there were many makers with the initials BM working at this time.
There is what could be a stamp to the inside of the rim, it is hard to say if it is a stamped mark or a flaw in the silver. Please see last image.
No breaks, splits, dents or damage.
Some light surface wear as expected for its age.
Stands steady and true.
The inside is in good order.

11cm including handle and spout.
6.2cm diameter of Jug at it widest.
