Pair of Vintage Silver Brooches, Celtic Style Bird & Folige Decoration

These are an unusual find a pair matching brooches. Two silver pierced and decorated brooches, both from the same mold, depicting a long tailed bird in folige, more likely to be craftsman rather than mass produced. Both are just over 2 inches across, good pin and good "C" catch, total weight of the two is around 48 gram. The design is a ancient Celtic/Gaelic design or a variation of one and these are, almost certainly a early to mid 20th Century copy, both are stamped "sterling" and both pass an acid test for sterling silver.
