Rare Pair of Small 19th Century Elm Hall Chairs

A beautifully made pair of 19th century elm hall chairs, these have a wonderful colour and will look great in any room. They are relatively small and might be reimagined to make a fabulous pair of bedside tables. - Turned, flared legs with H stretchers. - Solid backs, with carved roundels in the centre. - Thoughtful recessed hand holds in the backs. In good condition showing wear consistent with age and use. There are a couple of minor chips on the reverse of one of the backs, but these are unobtrusive and are not fresh, having the patina of age.
