Description
This large and attractive Staffordshire figure group is a mantlepiece ornament and has a central circular gap made to hold a pocket watch. Two figures clad in highland dress stand either side of the holder, their raised clasped hands forming an arch with a fruiting vine between them which frames the holder. The figure group is hand painted in overglaze enamels.
