Description
Small Victorian sterling silver vinaigrette, with a rectangle shape, suspension jump ring, a hinged lid, an engraved tartan decorated lid and base, and a vacant scrolled cartouche to the lid. Inside is gilded, with its acanthus pierced hinged grill.
Hallmarked in Birmingham, 1856, with the makers mark A T for Alfred Taylor, and the Victoria duty mark.
