Watch: Gents 1940s Hefik Wristwatch

The watch has a 17-jewel hand-winding movement, signed Hefik Watch Co Ltd, which is working nicely. The watch measures 32.5mm diameter excluding the winding crown and the lugs. The case has a chromium plated bezel, alloy centre and stainless steel case back, a combination seen from the mid 1940s onwards. The case has a little marking but overall is in good condition for a 1940s piece. The lens is in good condition. The dial has the wording, ‘Ancre, 15 rubis’. It is in its original finish, there is a little marking and darkening. The dial and movement are not original to each other but of a similar age. A new leather strap has been fitted. The watch comes in a new presentation box. All prices include UK postage (excluding Northern Ireland).
