This is a fine Georgian sterling silver creamer or milk jug made by Henry Chawner and hallmarked in London 1793.

It is in very good condition, made with a good gauge of silver and stands firmly on a raised square base. Of helmet shape it has two vacant cartouches and clear hallmarks.

A good quality jug from this very respected Georgian silversmith.
