This beautiful Victorian leather armchair is an ideal statement piece. It has been refurbished to a high standard. Rebuilt and re-stuffed then upholstered in an exquisite Italian leather hide. The Victorian armchair still features its original castors; the date of manufacture was during the 1860’s.

Today Father’s Day is a day to honour and celebrate Dads the world over, however this tradition is still relatively new; the tradition of Father’s Day only began in 1910. Originating in the United States in Spokane, Washington, a lady by the name of Sonora Smart Dodd decided that it was not only Mothers who should have a day dedicated to them. Dodd’s father was a Civil War veteran and had raised her and five other children single-handedly after her mother had died in childbirth.

Item of the Week - Longcase 18th Century Oak Clock

An attractive Longcase Clock made by Bothamley of Boston, who were well known clock makers in the Lincolnshire area during the 18th C. The clock was made in 1790 and is made from oak. The longcase clock is generally in very acceptable condition, it has undertaken a number of repairs in the past but is in very good working order.
