Anthony Waller Watercolour of a Misty Winter Landscape with Trees

Anthony Waller (b.1935) is a contemporary painter of watercolour landscapes, his canvas prints being sold by John Lewis and others. This, however, is an original watercolour, signed by the artist lower right. It is a tranquil, silent, scene of light woodland in late autumn or winter, with other trees looming in the distance. Presented in a wide gilt frame, it would make considerable impact on a blank wall. Anthony Waller was a fighter pilot with RAF in the 1950s and became a full time painter in 1976 after a career in sales and marketing. He is self taught and has exhibited with RI. He is still painting in Hertfordshire.
