Description
This is a fine quality Georgian mahogany drum table, offered in excellent showroom condition, having a circular mahogany table top with satinwood cross banding and ebony string inlay. There are 4 frieze drawers that all function well and 4 matching dummy drawers to complete the frieze.
The table is supplied with 2 keys which work the locks, all drawers have cockbeaded fronts and are of high quality solid mahogany dovetailed construction. On a solid mahogany turned column with 4 shaped and carved legs and decorative brass cup casters.
A fantastic piece of English furniture, unusual to see a table like this with a polished top instead of leather inset, and no handles on the drawers makes this a really simple clean design.
