OUR LATEST ACQUISITION:-
Frank Jamieson (1834-1899) IMPECCABLE SCOTTISH GLENCOE LANDSCAPE OIL PAINTING
An absolutely impeccable original Oil on canvas painting by:-
'Frank E Jamieson' (1834-1899)
The large work dates to Circa 1870-1880 and depicts the Glencoe region of the Scottish Highlands.
This is one of three paintings which we are currently selling by the same artist, all of which are outstanding examples and all mounted within the same original period gold leaf scrolled frames, so please remember to take a look at our other listings.
The attention to detail throughout this example is truly exceptional, with Jamieson using a very ingenious technique to portray the sunset which is highlighting the tall, Munro Scottish mountain peaks.
Indeed, the photographs do not do this marvellous trio of paintings justice, and we can absolutely guarantee that the new owner will be thrilled with their purchase.
For further information regarding condition, shipping, returns, and payment please read below.

Artsonline was founded by Aaron Selby, who began life in the world of Fine Art & Antiques over 25 years ago as an avid collector of Original Paintings and Period Furniture. Back then, his collection and passion grew so large, that he eventually had to sell one piece in order to replace it for another, as he simply did not have enough room in the house to continue amassing his collection further.
Aaron soon realised that his love and passion of all things Art & Antiques was never going to go away, and so, forward 20 years on, and Aaron now operates a quality globally recognised on-line Fine Art & Antique shop, specialising in the sale of original and authentic works of Fine Art and Antique furniture Pieces.
Artsonline sell only original, genuine pieces, unless it is otherwise stated in the advert listing as a reproduction!

Our Fine Art Listing Terminology & Qualifiers
When a listing's heading reads ''by'' and is followed by the artist's full name (or the artist's initials, if his full name is unrecorded), the work is in our opinion by the artist.
When the term ''signed by'' is used, in our opinion the work has been signed by the artist.
When the expression "attributed to" is used, the work is in our opinion possibly a work by the artist, in whole or in part.
When the expression ''circle of'' is used, the work is in our opinion a work of the period of the artist and showing his influence.
When the expression ''follower of'' is used, the work is in our opinion a work executed in the artist's style but not necessarily by a pupil.
When the expression ''manner of'' is used, the work is in our opinion a work executed in the artist's style but of a later date.
When the term "after" is used, the work is in our opinion a copy or imitation (of any date) of a work by the artist.
When the term ''bears signature'' is used in our opinion the signature is by a hand other than that of the artist.
Thank you for looking, we hope to see you again soon.
