This is an excellent 17th Century oak two part chest of drawers which was originally made in two parts, the top two drawer section lifts off the bottom two drawer section & when together is held in place by locating pegs. It has its original oak panelled sides & back, original oak drawer linings & drawer bottoms. The top boards have been historically repaired. (See photo of top). Replacement brass drop handles & back plates (Circa 1920's) in 17th Century style. Geometric mouldings to front. Four large drawers, the second deepest. A super early example in excellent condition with the added benefit of being in two parts.
