Here we have an antique mid-Victorian (1850-1870) mahogany 9 drawer pedestal desk with a sliding door storage cupboard to the top. This beautiful desk has had a new replacement green leather fitted, with an embossed gold border, ensuring this is ready to go straight into its new home. To the top is a unique full width of the desk mahogany cupboard, with two sliding doors, which opens to reveal vertical dividers spaced out inside for books, documents or filing storage. Importantly this desk is veneered to the back meaning it isn’t limited to being placed against walls but can also be used as centre piece in a room. There is 9 drawers each with wooden handles and the centre drawer specifically has a unique sliding 3 bowl feature for small stationary items storage.
