Description
Pair of early George III sterling silver English & Scottish tablespoons with later Victorian decoration, embossed and gilded spoon bowls decorated with bilberry fruit, and foliate scroll handles with vacant cartouches.
Hallmarks are very worn. One spoon is hallmarked London, 1766, the other spoon is hallmarked Edinburgh, 1765, but both makers marks are too worn to identify.
measurements
They each measure 8¾" or 221mm & 222mm long with 43mm wide spoon bowls, and have a combined silver weight of 131.4g.
