George III Regency sterling silver sugar tongs, with plain fiddle pattern stems.
Hallmarked in London, 1816, with the makers mark W E attributed to numerous London makers, but likely to be William Elliott, and the George III duty mark. No city mark, which was intentionally absent by the assay office on low weight silver during this period.
