An exceptional, fine and impressive, pair of antique William IV English sterling silver Queen's pattern gravy spoons; an addition to our silver flatware collection. This exceptional pair of antique silver spoons, in sterling standard, has been crafted in the Queen's pattern. The anterior and posterior surfaces of the handle are embellished with the classic Queen's pattern ornamentation, includes a convex shell design to either side of the terminal, in addition to the honeysuckle and rosette design*. The anterior surface of one handle terminal is ornamented with the contemporary bright cut engraved crest of an antemlope's head, erased. Each William IV spoon has an impressive anthemion/honeysuckle heel to the reverse of the bowl. * This pattern is most commonly acknowledged/referred to as Queen's pattern, however in the Chawner & Co.
